BELOW YOU WILL FIND INFORMATION FOR OUR TRAVEL TEAM PROGRAM

Our Travel Program is for those players in the U13, U15, and U17 age groups.

Team are formed of the most interested (and often quite skilled) players in those age groups.  These teams then travel to the other communities in the District (Northwest Central) to play.  They play two games a day, on Saturdays.  The communities rotate who hosts each weekends play.  Communities include Jasper, Hinton, Edson, Whitecourt, Evansburg, Stony Plain, and Drayton Valley.

Players can play both Houseleague and Travel.  In fact, they are encouraged to do so!  More touches, more games, more skills!  And the travel players can then act as mentors during houseleague as well.  Practices are typically the same evening as houseleague.  Where houseleague ends around 7:15pm, the Travel Practice would start around 7:30pm (this is because the players are already at the field).

At the end of the season, there is a Soccerfest to determine who will go on to represent the District at the Provincials!  Provincials could be hosted anywhere in the Province that given year.  It is an exciting and competitive step available to all of our players in these age groups!


The DVDSA will pay for our U11 and Older Teams to participate a tournament (typically Sherwood Park or Camrose). The DVDSA will also pay for U9 Teams to play in Millet. Any additional Tournaments are at the parents/teams expense.
