2024 OUTDOOR SCHEDULES, AGE GROUPS, and FEES:

Before you proceed, please take the time to read the following.

We are very proud of the accomplishments of our local program.  We have some features that not even the elite city clubs can boast - such as our own dedicated fields of appropriate size for all age groups, on site equipment, and more teams of less players.  Some of the things we have been doing for several seasons is just starting to be adopted by other organizations - for example the retreat lines.

Our goal is to create an environment where the players can touch the ball very often.  For this, we have many teams of very few players, which in turn means our coach to player ratio is one of the highest in the province!  In order to deliver this goal, though, we need volunteers in these positions.

Many people are worried that they know nothing about soccer.  You are not alone!  Our Technical Director ensures that the program is neatly laid out for you via coaching manuals and in person aid.  We inter-mingle coaches so that there is a community feel and help is just a few footsteps away.  We also strive to ensure that every team has an assistant coach as well.  As some of our coaches are concerned about work or other timing commitments that could occur, an assistant coach also gives them piece of mind that they are able to volunteer without the burden of letting the team down.

Here is an overview of each age group so that you can better understand what is involved from you as a coach:

  • Little Kickers, Micro, and U7. Simply - have FUN! All that is required of the coaches is to have fun and be energetic. The children at these ages are learning how to move their bodies and everything is very individualistic (dribbling, running, turning, twisting). Drills are simple to follow and fun to coach.

  • U9 and U11. The beginning of understanding. Coaches are given more guidance as to introductions of goalkeepers and tactics. Everything is still FUN. Players listen and execute quite well at this stage.

  • U13, U15, U17 and U19. Often, players in these age groups are also involved with our competitive Travel Team program. However, some just want to kick the ball around every other evening. Sessions are planned where the players are learning something mostly through game activities.
Some competitive mini contests are added to appease everyone.

We hope you consider coaching so that we can continue to be leaders in the province.  Please be sure to fill out the top of the form and state if you will help us out!
